We had a wonderful holiday season! On the night of Winter Solstice we lit lots of candles, opened a few presents each, and made holiday goodies. The big gift of the night was Daddy's new guitar. Making cookies was the big hit for the kids! The next day we had family over and opened more gifts. The big gift of the night was Mommy's new ring! We spent all of Christmas Eve in Va. with family.
We went to Castle Mcculloch which was all decked out with lights and entertainment! I think everyone had a good time, although it was a long walk around to all of the different displays. It was somewhat sentimental because my husband and I got married there.
One of the girls that works with Chayce after school brought a Gingerbread House for the kids to decorate. They all had a good time, even though it was hard convincing Chayce he couldn't eat the candy.
We got our tree decorated, despite the fact that Zephyr thinks all the ornaments belong on the floor! Oh well, I tried to put the really breakable ones at the top, but I do expect to lose a few this year. I'm sure to a toddler all the lights have to be the neatest thing in the world! How can you NOT want to touch it!
